What do you do if there is a vacant table of eight and ten available that are not reserved and neither is that big a group expected and you are just a group of five at a restaurant?
1. You call three more people so that you can be the exact number
2. You wait for the people at table for five to finish eating and then you go and sit there
3. You go and sit at the table of eight, place the order, tell the guy that when the table for five gets empty you shall shift there.
Well option number three is what we chose. And yet they refused to give us the table and asked us to wait outside for fifteen minutes till the people seated at the table for five finish eating. We then asked to speak to the manager and they guy tells us that he himself was the manager. LOL. Well we know what to expect from a restaurant that has a manager who himself drives away customers.
TIPS
• Ensure that you either in groups in 2, 4, 5, 8 or 10 when you visit Govinda’s because they do not have seating capacity for in betweens.
• Call in advance and make a booking
• DO NOT GO THERE
